Data and electronics recycling company in Chantilly, VA is seeking a part-time recruiter to for non-management staffing needs.

Hours/Schedule:  20 – 30 hours/week
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Location Requirements: Mainly remote but some on-site requirement. Must live in the DC area

Rate: $35-$40 / hour
Job Description: The part-time recruiter will support the company’s hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. Responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process, including sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience.

This position will coordinate the activities of an internal recruiting team, overseeing certain open position activities, and organizing recruiting efforts outside the company such as job fairs, college recruiting, and job boards postings. This position will also be responsible for administering the ATS, budgeting, reporting, planning, and strategizing for compensation, recruiting, and hiring efforts. This position will focus on non-management, hourly warehouse jobs.

Requirements Responsibilities: 
  • Creatively source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
  • Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
  • Perform reference checks as needed
  • Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms
  • Manage onboarding and new hire process
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years of recruiting experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to establish cooperative working relationships built on trust
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable making decisions independently
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proficient in G Suite
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
