Join us for our first Leadership Series program of the year!  This event will be hosted at Valo Park (formerly Gannett/Tegna), 7950 Jones Branch Drive, McLean, VA 22102

Creating a compelling vision is one of the key competencies for successful leaders. Unlike other leadership topics, vision is best defined in collaboration with other functional leaders in the organization. HR Alliance members and friends are welcome and encouraged to bring fellow organizational leaders to this presentation to share and collaborate on the drafting of a future-view of the HR organization.

This highly interactive and experiential session guides HR and other functional business leaders through a process of creating a vision that can be used to set strategy that aligns their department with the direction of the entire organization.

Key takeways:

  • See how HR can be strategically used to advance organizational mission
  • Show how to partner in setting a long-range HR strategy that aligns with business objectives
  • Explore how to build a collaborative partnership between key functional areas
