Join us for our first Leadership Series program at the Tower Club, 8000 Towers Crescent Drive, Ste 1700, Vienna, VA 22182

How can HR leaders most effectively engage and inspire others? What really creates influence? What’s the best way to gain true buy-in and investment? This session, led by communication expert and author of The Inspiration Code and The Power of Presence, Kristi Hedges, will push participants to think about their own ability to influence in new and surprising ways.

Perhaps more than any other function, HR must communicate precisely and persuasively from the front lines to the board room. With an engaging, interactive format and rich content underscored with social science research, this session offers participants practical tools for authentically enhancing their influencing skills and overall communications effectiveness. Participants learn how to cultivate a persuasive presence, build trust, gain buy-in for ideas, and deliver inspiring communications.

What you will learn:

  • How to shape your presence to reflect your core values and build credibility, even under stress
  • Communication strategies to ensure, and expand, HR’s seat at the table
  • Ways to drive buy-in and adoption of ideas
  • How to discern and use both influence and inspiration to achieve goals
  • Surprising persuasion tactics that move others to action
