Join us at the Westwood Country Club for our May Program!  Note that this program will be on a Thursday, rather than our typical Wednesday programming.

Networking: 7:45 - 8:15 AM
Arrive early for an opportunity to meet new people!

Program Description:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers numerous benefits to HR practitioners, such as transforming how professionals manage and optimize talent. In addition, AI helps to revolutionize our workflow, automate mundane tasks, and focus on what truly matters to supercharge personal productivity. With constant changes in the field of AI, how will we empower our workforce to be ready and able to embrace AI now and in the future? While AI offers transformative potential, those who use AI tools must take into consideration, threats to privacy, ethical dilemmas, and the perpetuation of biases, necessitating vigilant oversight and responsible implementation.

Join us for this program, where our three panelists help us to take a closer look at improving personal productivity, examining workforce readiness and defining ethical considerations.  Our own Cari Bohley will be facilitating this panel.  By participating in this AI Empowerment Program, HR professionals will be equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to harness AI's potential responsibly, driving organizational success while upholding ethical standards and ensuring workforce readiness.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify common AI tools currently used in talent acquisition and talent management, and evaluate their impact on HR practices.
  • Understand the ethical implications of using AI in HR, particularly in relation to fairness, bias, transparency, and decision-making.
  • Examine real-world examples of AI use in HR settings, such as AI chatbots for employee inquiries and recruitment automation platforms.
  • Analyze the potential risks and challenges associated with AI, including concerns about bias, plagiarism, and job displacement.
  • Explore strategies HR professionals can use to balance AI adoption with human oversight, inclusivity, and ethical standards.
  • Engage in thoughtful discussion around the evolving role of HR in shaping ethical AI policies and guiding organizational use of AI technology.
