Christine Clapp, President, Spoken with Authority
is the author of Presenting at Work: A Guide to Public Speaking in Professional Contexts and the president of Spoken with Authority, a presentation skills consultancy that trains professionals to achieve a personal best every time they present. Since 2008, her workshops and consulting engagements have helped thousands of professionals in law firms, consulting firms, associations, and corporations craft memorable presentations and deliver them with confidence.
Christine holds two degrees in communication: a bachelor’s degree from Willamette University, and a master’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. Early in her career, she worked on Capitol Hill for two years as a communications aide to a senator and three years as a communications director for a member of Congress. She also taught public speaking to undergraduate and graduate students at The George Washington University for over a decade.
