Participants will explore the importance of maintaining connections, learn how to overcome barriers to reaching out, and gain actionable insights for developing an intentional keep-in-touch strategy.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the academic research supporting the importance of maintaining relationships and its numerous benefits in personal and professional spheres.
  • Learn how to apply research findings to develop your own relationship-building strategy.
  • Identify strategies to develop an intentional mindset and overcome self-imposed barriers to keeping in touch, such as feelings of awkwardness or disingenuousness.
  • Review actionable strategies for staying connected, including methods for reaching out and nurturing relationships effectively.
  • Discover how to leverage these strategies to enhance networking efforts, amplify professional growth, and navigate career development successfully.
