is Academic Director for the Institute for Transformational Leadership and Program Director of the Leadership Coaching Program at Georgetown University and President of BPA Coaching and Consulting. His work as a teacher, coach and consultant focuses on supporting senior leaders, leadership teams, and organization in building leadership capacity and aligning leader behavior with organizational strategy and mission needs.
Bill has worked with front line leaders to C-level executives in the United States and around the world including countries such as South Africa, China, Japan, Brazil, Chile, Israel, Lebanon, India, Slovakia, U.A.E, Columbia, Australia, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
Bill’s client organizations have included government, foundations, non-profit organizations, trade associations, and Fortune 100 companies.
is adjunct faculty for the Institute of Transformational Leadership at Georgetown University and Principal of Sharon Newport, LLC, an organizational consulting firm supporting clients with leadership effectiveness, organizational capacity, and strategic and cultural alignment.
Sharon uses neuroscience, somatic awareness, organizational development, and lenses for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to meet clients where they are and help them to create goals to evolve.
Sharon also specializes in working with non-profit associations and foundations, both domestically and internationally, and serves as a DEI strategist and facilitator for SmithBucklin, an association management company, supporting client organizations on their diversity, equity, and inclusion journeys.
