The art and science of influencing without authority and creating meaningful connections.
Our professional lives are full of both the challenges and opportunities of working with others. Twenty-first century knowledge work includes constant interactions and collaboration between teams and individuals; it requires interpersonal skills and communication that can keep-up with the rapid pace of change in our workplaces. This 90-minute workshop is designed as a mix of information and exercises to build skills in influencing without authority and cultivating fruitful relationships in professional settings. Participants will gain techniques and tools to communicate with intention and build trust through empathy; understand how to access their personal power; and, interact with and learn from one another. Participants receive a handout that is their guide throughout the workshop. We close the session asking the group to share their insights and what they plan to bring back with them to their organizations.
- Learn the stages of relationship development
- Hear tangible tips to influence without authority and cultivate fruitful relationships
- Interact with and learn from one another
