The 2015 HR Alliance Compensation Survey is right around the corner!  The Survey launches on April 1, 2015 and will run through June 2015.  On Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. EST, Pearl Meyer & Partners, our colleagues in the development and administration of the survey, will once again host an informational webinar designed to walk returning and first-time respondents through the survey.  Mark your calendars now!  Click here to register.

Why Participate in the Survey?
No single company represents the “average” salaries and “typical” compensation policies and practices in the Washington DC metro area, so it's important for companies to gain insight into prevailing compensation trends, especially in our very diverse and densely populated region.  While your company may be one of many in this area, you represent a critical data point that enhances the quality of the survey results and increases the survey's value.  Every submission counts!

Why Buy the Survey?
Participation is the first half of the equation.  For your company to maximize its effectiveness at attracting and retaining talent, it must make informed decisions at the offer stage, during incentive compensation planning, and when extending counter offers to retain flight risks.  In broader terms, it is a sound business practice to regularly benchmark your compensation practices against companies in this area, both competitors and non-competitors alike.  The HR Alliance Compensation Survey is one of the most comprehensive and useful tools of its kind, and has served the Washington DC metro area for over a quarter century.

Lock-in Discounts and Additional Benefits!
HR Alliance is continuing two of its long-standing practices to keep the survey affordable.  Survey participants will receive a $500 discount compared to the non-participant purchase price.  Membership in HR Alliance secures even greater discounts.  In fact, it's actually more economical for most companies to pay the HR Alliance membership fee AND purchase the survey at the discounted membership price, than it is to buy the survey at the non-member rate.  HR Alliance members are eligible to attend, at no additional cost, our 8 monthly educational programs, conducted by subject matter experts on a broad array of topics, and network with leaders and practitioners that represent the best of the HR profession.  Our educational programs are also preapproved for both HRCI and SHRM recertification credits!

Be sure to join us on April 22 at 2:00 p.m. for the 2015 Compensation Survey webinar.  Come reap the benefits of membership and survey participation!  If you haven't received submission materials by April 2nd and you would like to participate in the 2015 survey, please contact us at
