Program Summary:
Human Capital leaders have long sought to have a place at the proverbial executive table.  The “c” suite forever had been occupied by finance, operations, technology and marketing.  In the last decade, it is finally commonplace to see CHCO’s serving equal roles as their historical counterparts.  Lori Evans Ermi and Barbara Tiano will share common misperceptions and best practices to having a seat at the table.  Their pragmatic and participative style will surely make the session engaging and substantive. After a brief history lesson on the evolution of Human Capital, they will share the latest about the vision and potential of the function as thought leaders share what is their perspective of the future.  The Seven Deadly Sins ensuring the HR function stays out of the board room will be explored, as well as Seven Winning Strategies to getting that invitation and staying there.

Outcomes:
“When HR Has a Seat at the Table” provides participants with real-life scenarios and winning strategies for HRBPs in building trusting strategic partnerships with their clients. This program will give you 7 actionable strategies to build better relationships with your clients, so they come to you as a trusted advisor proactively. Participants will be asked to work in small groups to create actionable ideas to bring those strategies alive in their organizations.  Video clips of actual managers will be shared so the participants can hear for themselves what is important to the strategic relationship.
