Brief Job Description: Jason has over 20 years of experience spanning all aspects of the Human Resources field. After nearly ten years with Hyatt Hotels Corporation and two years with Central Parking Corporation, Jason spent eight years at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) where he served as Vice President/Director of Human Resources for a Business Unit of 3,500 employees. Jason shifted to the real estate industry in 2013 through a role as Vice President of Human Resources for the Washington, DC division of NY-based REIT Vornado Realty Trust. Jason joined the executive team of Edgewood/Vantage, a leading residential property management company, in July 2017.

Personal Interests: Jason is active on the Executive Committee & Board of Directors for both his synagogue and his childrens’ school. He is an enthusiastic coach and fan of his kids’ team sports activities, and is an avid watcher of Seinfeld reruns and Homeland.

Brief Job Description: Emily has over 30 years of progressively responsible positions in the HR field, spanning a variety of industries including aerospace & defense, information technology, environmental, and hospitality. Emily joined the Human Resources department of Orbital Sciences , a developer and manufacturer of small- and medium- class satellites and space systems, in 1998, and led the HR function for the company. In early 2015, Orbital merged with ATK, becoming Orbital ATK. Emily’s current role is Vice President, Human Resources for the Space System Group, where she leads a team of 20 HR professionals overseeing the needs of approximately 3,000 employees nationwide. She has been very involved in pre- and post- merger activities, from M&A due diligence through the integration of HR benefits, compensation systems, HR policies and other programs. While this effort is still ongoing, Emily is currently focusing on employee retention and engagement efforts.

Education: Emily has a B.S. degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from the University of Maryland.
Personal Interests: Emily enjoys yoga and fitness, reading, the beach and is an avid football fan. She is a volunteer with the Pets on Wheels Program, visiting nursing homes with her dog. She enjoys spending her leisure time with her family.

Brief Job Description: Michelle leads recruiting and service delivery at Vector Talent Resources collaborating with clients to acquire and develop top talent in the Washington DC market. She brings two decades of agency-based recruiting experience to the role and has focused on Human Resources as a specialty throughout her career. Brief Job Description: Kristin has over seventeen years of progressive experience in the field of Human Resources and is currently the Director of HR at RainKing. Kristin’s past experience includes being the HR Manager at Orbital ATK and she was a business partner to the executive management team at CoStar Group. At Costar she also managed a team of four HR Generalists who supported the sales, product development and marketing and research organizations. Kristin is a SME on employee relations, coaching, conflict management, FMLA/ADA and merger/acquisition integration. Prior to joining CoStar, Kristin worked at CA for over five years as an HR Generalist where she supported IT, accounting, and both the federal and commercial sales and services teams.
Other Accomplishments/Memberships: Kristin earned her SHRM-SCP in 2014 and has been a member of SHRM since 2001. In addition to being in her fifth year on the board for HR Alliance DC, she is also the Chair of the Compensation Survey Committee, co-chair of the Sponsorship Committee and former Chair of the Member Relations Committee. Brief Job Description: Elizabeth has over 25 years of experience in the field of strategic talent acquisition and management within world-class organizations, spanning a variety of industries to include services, aerospace & defense, professional/managed services, not for profit and telecommunications. Elizabeth recently joined Serco as their head of Talent Acquisition North America overseeing the hiring needs for over 10,000 employees nationwide. Previously Elizabeth lead the recruitment functions at companies such as Orbital ATK (formally Orbital Sciences Corporation), the American Red Cross, Accenture and Cable & Wireless Global where she successfully developed recruiting/staffing infrastructures that supported unprecedented growth, profitability, and critical business objectives. Brief Job Description: Signy brings over 10 years of experience in a variety of roles, primarily focused on Finance, Planning & Analysis. In her current role as Senior Compensation Analyst at Intelsat she partners with the sales and finance teams on all aspects of the Intelsat Sales Incentive Plan and provides modelling expertise for the corporate incentive plan as well as other compensation and headcount related analyses. Signy loves working with cross-functional teams and has a passion for helping teams use numbers and analysis for efficient decision-making.
Other Accomplishments/Memberships: Signy has passed Levels I and II of the CFA exam and currently serves as the Secretary of the Intelsat Toastmasters Club. She is a fluent Norwegian speaker and member of the Norwegian Ladies Club of DC, MD, VA having previously served as the Event Coordinator.

Personal Interests: Signy loves spending time outside, gardening, hiking and camping and spent a gap year in Northern Norway, hiking, camping and dog-sledding.
